Dubai is a holiday destination that I always recommend to my friends, I absolutely loved my time there. There is so much to see and do that you might, like me, find yourself running out of time as whiz round to see all of the amazing sites that are on offer. You don’t have to always be on the go though, you can leave yourself plenty of time to relax in the Dubai sun.
Before you plan what you are going to be doing on your trip you need to get your flights and accommodation booked. Whilst Dubai may have some of the most luxurious hotels in the world that do cost a lot of money what it also has is some great options for those on a budget. It’s not difficult to find a bargain if you make sure that you book early and do your research, trust me when I say that there are some great deals to be had!
I met up with a couple of friends that visited Dubai on my recommendation and here’s what we all agreed were the must see things when you’re there.
Burj Khalifa
No trip to Dubai would be complete without visiting the Burj Khalifa – it is the world’s tallest building! You know what’s even better about visiting the world’s tallest building? You get to hop in the world’s fastest list to take you to the top! I am not too fond of heights so it was difficult at first, but the views were absolutely majestic you need to go at sunset for the best view ever!
Ski Dubai – Mall of The Emirates
Dubai is in the desert isn’t it? Yes it is! But this is Dubai and absolutely nothing is out or reach, so if you fancy hitting the slopes for a bit of skiing you can. I like the novelty of doing this because outside it’s plus 50 degrees and is below zero inside. What’s more is that there is even a cafe/bar halfway on the slope which is just what you would find if you were in the alps!
Dubai Fountains
This is free and fantastic! If you haven’t been to Vegas to see the fountains there you might have seen them in some Hollywood movies, well, anything Vegas can do Dubai can do bigger, better and brighter! Head to the fountains at night to see their true beauty.
