The prototypical postcard shot of a Thai long-tail boat is from Krabi, with crystal waters in the foreground and huge limestone cliffs towering behind.
Well, we weren’t in Krabi and we didn’t come across any cliffs, so we had to make do with a more functional scene. During the day this long-tail boat is used to shuttle divers to and from the large excursion boats of Ban’s Diving Resort, and at night it’s left moored with these fishing vessels in the background.
And, just because he’s so dang cute, here’s a bonus shot of Kali enjoying this sunset in Koh Tao.
You’re welcome.

Ha ha, I was actually looking the limestone cliffs in your photograph then. Still a great photo though – as is the other one.

LOL. I was looking for the limestone cliffs too. Love the picture though, even without the cliffs.

Bait and switch, that’s out motto.
Kali does look especially cute there. Something about the hair, the aviators and, well, the Kali.

“You’re welcome.” Lol.. you two are adorable. The clouds look like they are dancing on the water in this photo.

What a great shot. When I make it to Thailand I want to ride in boats like that.
